The New York International Auto Show returned for 2022 after a two-year hiatus. We have to admit this year’s exhibition had a respectable turnout. Today, we have a wide range of new energy sources, including solar and hydrogen, which we can use to power our vehicles. Last but not least, we have electric drivetrains, which is the most popular option.

The Madison Square Garden hosted the inaugural New York City Auto Show back in 1901. This year’s New York International Auto Show was held in the Jacob Javits Convention Center, where electric vehicles and SUVs were the main attractions. Even though gas-powered vehicles were still present, every leading carmaker had an EV or hybrid vehicle on exhibit.

This limited-edition Ford GT honors the 1-2-3 winner in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1966. It looks like the original automobile thanks to the same paint color, red highlights, and other minor characteristics. The manufacturer displayed it beside the car that competed at Le Mans back in 1966, and the new GT looks fantastic compared to its 1966 sibling. Visible carbon fiber, black Brembo brakes, gold and red paint, and 20-inch wheels are just some of the exterior features that make this automobile stand out from the others.

The interior features even more carbon fiber, deep black Alcantara, gold contrast piping, and a plethora of gold inlays. The Holman Moody GT will be the ninth model in the Heritage Edition GT series, which debuted in 2006 and continued until 2017. This is the final Heritage Edition for the 2022 model year, according to Ford. The manufacturer emphasized that it will only be sold in extremely restricted numbers. Sadly, it is more likely that Ford will only take orders from certified GT clients.

This electric hypercar, the result of a partnership between Williams Engineering, Italdesign, and Deus, will be produced in extremely small numbers. The output is anticipated to be greater than 2,200 horsepower, and the acceleration from 0 to 62 mph is said to take only 1.99 seconds. These are somewhat impressive specifications. Assuming the data is credible, the Deus Vayanne hypercar would have a higher peak power rating than the 1900 hp Pininfarina Battista or 1900 hp Rimac C Two models.

The inside is equipped with eco-friendly materials, and Deus is dedicated to a waste-free manufacturing process. The first delivery is scheduled for 2025, and Deus intends to produce 99 vehicles in total. As a refresher, Deus Automobiles was founded in 2020 in Vienna, Austria. The company took a position in the incredibly competitive hypercar industry by delivering a new and realistic perspective as well as innovative designs. Luxury, performance, and exclusivity are all hallmarks of Deus.

The Airflow Concept, which debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year, has been reworked for the 2022 New York Auto Show with a new paint, revised interior design, and a new Chrysler badge. The Airflow Graphite Concept is now finished in Galaxy Black with Cyprus Copper highlights. The non-graphite Airflow concept was dressed in Arctic White and Celestial Blue cladding.

The front fascia has been modified, with the Chrysler wings being nearly engulfed by the illuminated grille. The massive 22-inch wheels and external trim on the vehicle are also copper-colored. Inside, there are no major alterations other than a color change. A black-and-white color scheme is used throughout the inside. Meanwhile, graphs on the infotainment touchscreen are adorned with copper.

Clear without saying, the Airflow Graphite concept is more appealing when compared to its sibling. The Chrysler Airflow concept seems to be ready to go into production. There are plans to put the Airflow on the market in 2025, making it the first all-electric Chrysler. Following in the Airflow’s footsteps, other Chrysler EVs are expected to enter production. Moreover, the company will announce its full EV portfolio by 2028. It is also not excluded that many of the Airflow’s design elements will be used in future automobiles, even if the concept is never put into production.
